PURI:Today, on the 52nd day of chariot construction, the chariot builders arrived at the chariot yard before 8:00 am and began the chariot construction work after receiving the guidance of the Chief Maharana.

*Chariot construction progress*

*First Earth or Third Earth*
This afternoon, in the presence of the chief Maharana, the three chariots, along with the Maharana’s associates and Bhoi Sevaks, were erected on the third floor or the front floor and installed on the middle floor.
(This third ground frame is connected in four quadrants, with four ground legs at its four corners, and six square brackets connected on each side of the ground, making the third ground frame rest on the ground.)
*Three times the drumbeat ends*
Today, the three-rathi, one dhamaka each, has been completed by attaching four nakshakas. While two dhamakas are played in front and behind the Taladhwaja Rath and NandiGhosh Rath, three dhamakas are played for the Dharpadalana Rath, and planks are attached to these dhamakas and the altar throne is constructed three times. This dhamaka strengthens and binds the four nakshakas.
