BHUBANESWAR:After the Honorable Law Minister disclosed the issue of the loss of two judicial department investigation reports, an FIR has been lodged at the Capital Police Station on behalf of the state government. In reality, this FIR is just in name. There will be no investigation or action against anyone, Odisha people should know.
This investigation report has been jointly concealed by the BJD and BJP. This is a well-planned conspiracy by the leaders of both parties.The Chief Minister has been aware of the issue of the missing investigation report for a long time, but under some pressure, he remained silent.
The Law Minister told the media about the loss of the report, and then the government filed an FIR. It is clear that the Law Minister has been aware of the loss of the report for quite some time and he must have raised it in the Chief Minister and party forums. Because. The BJP has repeatedly raised the issue of publishing the investigation report on the murder of Laxman Nanda Swami and demanding action before and after the elections. But Naveen Patnaik’s government suppressed this report for many years.
The BJD party is asking why they hid this report and did not publish it publicly or present it in the assembly. The reason may be that the BJD government made it disappear. Again, when did the BJP government know about the loss of the report? How did the Honorable Law Minister know? Why did the Home Minister and the Chief Minister keep quiet about it? If the Law Minister knew, then how did the Chief Minister not know? The BJP party is giving its answer publicly. Because three months ago, news was broadcast on Satyapath that this report was lost. Why was the BJP silent at that time? How did Satya Prakash Nayak know? How did the Chief Minister not know? This needs to be investigated.
Justice Panigrahi Commission was set up in 2007 on the Kandhamal riots. This commission submitted its report in 2015. Similarly, in 2008, another commission was set up on the murder of Laxnananda Swamy Commission and Justice SC Mohapatra Commission. After the death of Justice Mohapatra in 2012, Justice Naidu took over the responsibility of this investigation and submitted its report in 2015. The cost of these two investigations was Rs 4.5 crore.
Why did the BJD party not take any action on this report and keep it hidden and make the report disappear? Why did the BJP party not search for this report or file an FIR after coming to power? Why did the Chief Minister remain silent knowing that the report was lost?
It is true that after Naveen Patnaik’s government leaves power in 2024, the Pandya Group will burn or take away many important files of the Chief Minister’s office, and have destroyed the computer hard disk. Regarding the missing of many data, the officials of the Chief Minister’s office expressed their helplessness by saying this regarding the issue of not providing me with RTI data.
Therefore, just as the BJP government in the state has continued to protect former BJD ministers, MLAs, officers and Pandyas without investigating all the corruption and misdeeds of the previous BJD government, and has installed all those corrupt Pandu Panthi officials in high positions, it is futile to expect any action from this government. Even if any clues are found from the police investigation, the BJP government will still not take any action against the BJD. Two years of BJP rule and the blatant silence of BJP leaders have proven this.
