Kendrapada Collector vsited flood-prone areas across different blocks  to assess the ground situation as the water level of the Baitarani River continues to be monitored closely

The Collector reviewed the preparedness measures with field officials and line department officers, inspected vulnerable locations, embankments, cyclone, flood shelters and relief arrangements  and directed all concerned to remain on high alert.

‘Our priority is to ensure the safety of every resident through timely evacuation wherever required, uninterrupted essential services, and effective coordination among all agencies,” Collector said.

He urged citizens living in vulnerable areas to remain alert, follow official advisories, and cooperate with the  administration.
