BHUBANESWAR: To ensure the smooth and seamless delivery of the state government’s relief package for current flood-affected farmers, a key review meeting was chaired by the Deputy CM KV Singh Deo at Krushi Bhavan.
During the meeting, the Deputy CM stressed the accurate identification of affected farmers and the uploading of their data through the online portal, while directing officials to prioritize the swift supply of quality seeds and fertilizers in adequate quantities. Furthermore, special focus was placed on making the overall delivery mechanism more viable and robust to guarantee that relief reaches farmers without any delay.
The Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment and other senior officials from DAFE were present at the meeting.
