The detailed discussion on the Tridivasiya Matrushakti Vandana Act in the Parliament will not only provide one-third reservation to the women of the country in the Parliament and the Legislative Assembly by 2029 but will also be the foundation stone for the successful realization of the dream of a developed India by 2047. This will pave the way for economic development under the leadership of women, Deputy Chief Minister Parida said in this press conference.

The 128th Constitutional Amendment in 2023 is written in golden letters in our history as a landmark step in the history of India. The Deputy Chief Minister said that one-third reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies is not only limited to increasing women representation but is also a strong effort towards making policy making more inclusive, sensitive and effective.

Deputy Chief Minister Smt. Parida said that under Modi ji’s successful leadership, whether the 128th Amendment to the Constitution in 2023 or the proposed special session of Parliament from April 16 to 18, 2026, will be a temporary decision, not an immediate one. Modi ji has made great efforts to empower women socially and economically since he assumed the presidency of the country in 2014. Modi ji’s Rashtra Konark Mundi is celebrated only from April 16 to 18.
Mrs. Parida said that the foundation laid by Prime Minister Modi ji from the ramparts of the Red Fort for women’s dignity through toilets at home through Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, will be shattered today through 33 percent reservation in Parliament and the Legislative Assembly under the Matrimony Act.
Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana under women’s ownership, drinking water through piped water in every house under Jal Jeevan Mission, bank accounts under Jan Dhan Yojana, Lakshpati Didi from self-help groups, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, 33 percent reservation for women under Matru Shakti Bandhan Authyam is going to stand on the solid foundation of women’s self-respect and empowerment. In this sequence, Subhadra Yojana under Modi’s guidance has become the pioneer of women empowerment.
Women are the heart of Modiji’s rule. Be it Matru Vandana for pregnant women or PM Poshan, Safer Maternal Abhiyan, Sahay Anganwadi, Mission Indradhanush, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Sukanya Samriddhi, etc., these are all indicative of the Prime Minister’s unwavering commitment to women empowerment.
