BHUBANESWAR:Sandipani Chowdhury, a research student of the Department of English, Department of Social Sciences and Humanities under the University-run Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), has been conferred with a doctorate.
His reference has been highly appreciated by Professor Nayandeep Singh Kanwal of the University of Malaysia. Shri Singh opined that the basic and useful information presented by Shri Choudhury on the narrative style of the novels of the internationally renowned American novelist Cormac Marcarthy is based on a very solid and powerful foundation.
Dr. Tanu Gupta, Professor at Central University, Haryana, opined that the originality is clearly evident in the qualitative value and conclusion of the reference.
Shri Choudhury had been conducting research under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Swayamprabha Satapathy of SOA University for over four years. It is worth mentioning here that many students of SOA have been praised by professors from many prestigious universities of the world for their high-quality research work, thus maintaining the tradition of pride and glory of the university.
