BHUBANESWAR:Kalinga Sena files FIR against Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond at Capital PS .
Kalinga Sena is demanding that a case be filed against the State Minister of Schools and Public Education, as well as the officers/employees responsible for publishing the book, for the unforgivable errors in the textbooks published in the Odia language for Odisha students, and that all the losses be recovered from them.
The thousands of errors that have been observed in the recently published Odia textbook are rare in the history of Odisha education. Not only has misleading information been provided in this, but a photograph of the Karnataka Assembly has been inserted in place of the photograph of the Odisha Assembly. One thing is clear from this that no departmental minister or official is sensitive to the needs of Odia students. If the book had at least glanced at the students before it went to them, this would not have happened.
The organization or government person who was responsible for publishing this book and how much money they took should be investigated by the police and made public. Since lakhs of books were printed and money was wasted, this organization should be blacklisted immediately, the responsible officer should be arrested and all the money should be recovered from them. To take strict steps as soon as possible and provide the students with revised and correct textbooks, the General Secretary of Kalinga Sena, Eng Swatish Ranjan Sahu, Vijay Raj, Eng Manoj Nayak, Monalish Biswal, gave this information at the Capital Police Station today.
