PURI:Today, on the 64th day of the chariot construction, the chariot builders arrived at the chariot yard at 8:00 am, gave their presence, and began the construction work under the guidance of the Chief Maharana.

By yesterday, the three-time Prabha frame was cut and the bends were cut on the Prabha planks. Today, the bends were cut and the shape carving and setting of the planks were completed. Tomorrow, the Rupkar Sevaks will start the work of carving the shapes on the Prabhas.

*Three times the feet of the Naat are carved into the shape of a Kandarpa*
The Rupkar Sevaks had completed carving Kandarpa forms on 12 of the 24 Natpajas of the three chariots and provided them for painting. They completed carving Kandarpa forms on the remaining 12 Natpajas today and have continued the work of carving Man Biral, Singh Biral and Gaj Biral images on the planks of the three chariots.

At the temporary blacksmith shop of Dolavedi, the Ojha blacksmiths have completed the work of dusting the three chariots and making the Naraj kantar for setting the horseshoes on the chariots. After completing the work of the Matha, they have continued the work of making the altar kantar, the Prabha kantar, and fitting iron plates to protect the rear wheels of the three chariots.
