PURI:Under the direction of the Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA), the ‘Entry Ceremony and Khadi Kachhara’ program for the new academic year was held with great enthusiasm at the P.M. Shri Biswambhar Vidyapeeth premises in Puri. This program was organized keeping in mind the importance of ‘Shishu Batika’ class along with primary education as per the New Education Policy (NEP-2020).
District Information and Public Relations Officer (DPRO) Shri Santosh Kumar Sethi graced the occasion as the chief guest and wished the students a bright future by bringing them into the mainstream of education. The function was presided over by the Principal of the school, Mrs. Subhasree Dash and was well-attended by the newly enrolled students. The event was welcomed with sweets, flowers and school supplies along with khadi.
The President, members of the School Management Committee (SMC) and parents were present on the occasion and encouraged the children. Senior teachers of the school, Parvati Dash, Suresh Chandra Tripathi, Pratap Kumar Sahu, Rashmita Dash, and Tikina Behera played a major role in making the program a success.
As per the government’s instructions, the special corners for children in the school premises like ‘Play Space’, ‘Art and Creativity Space’ and ‘Storytelling Space’ were visited by the guests and parents and appreciated this innovative way of teaching. In the end, the celebration was successfully concluded with the cooperation of all the teachers.
