BHUBANESWAR:Under the leadership of the eminent Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is now moving towards a golden age. The dream of a developed India is about to be fulfilled. The Nari Shakti Bandhan Act is going to be enacted to ensure the full participation of women in this developmental work. This act will ensure 33 percent reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies. This amendment to the Constitution is a landmark step in the history of India.
A special session of Parliament is going to be held on the Nari Shakti Bandhan Act from April 16 to 18. A scooty and bike rally was organized today in support of the Nari Shakti Bandhan Act Bill under the leadership of State Yuva Morcha Vice President Sushri Kavita Kannur. Young women and women welcomed the bill by rallying on hundreds of scooty and bikes from Bhubaneswar AG Chowk to Ramadevi Women’s University. On this occasion, they garlanded the statue of Ramadevi and paid homage.
State Women’s Front President Dr. Aishwarya Biswal attended the rally as the chief guest. Along with her, hundreds of State Women’s Front activists, all women officers and Yuva Morcha’s Ankita Gangadeb, Shimran Singh Rajput, Priyanka Sotoray, Subhashri Mohanty, Sharmistha Dixit, Shivani Chaudhary, Deepika Behera were prominently present.
