BHUBANESWAR/KENDRAPARA: After facing severe criticism for his mysterious disappearance during the COVID-19 and cyclone Amphan crisis, Kendrapara Lok Sabha MP, Anubhav Mohanty is his usual style, released a video message to clarify his absence from the scene.

The video message has nothing, which could bring cheers for the people of Kendrapara Lok Sabha seat, those who voted for him in 2019 while going against a political stalwart like Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda of BJP.

“I am returning on May 25 and while abiding by the Government guidelines, I will visit Kendrapara and I am regularly in touch with Party MLAs and District administration since the crisis began,” the MP said in his video message.

Kendrapara MP Mohanty’s video message came after his opponent, BJP’s Jay Panda paid frequent visits to Rajnagar and Mahakalpada blocks of the district to see the plights of the locals in view of the COVID-19 and cyclone Amphan.

“The MP kept silent and hide himself somewhere in New Delhi when Kendrapara was in crisis and now saying , he is worry , it’s another film dialogue,” said a local in Mahakalpada Assembly segment area.
