BHUBANESWAR:  Dr. Mohan ji Bhagwat, RSS Sarasanghachalak while addressing the Vijayadashami Utsav at Nagpur in Maharashtra highlighted the contribution of late Swami Shraddhanand Ji and late Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati Ji Maharaj for poor and tribal people.

Dr Bhagwat said “ This is also a year of remembrance of two great personalities who laid down their lives in defence of their faith and Dharma. 100 years have passed since the balidaan of Swami Shraddhanand Ji—a revered ascetic and Sanyasi of the Arya Samaj, a passionate and uncompromising defender of Dharma, a learned educationist, a valiant freedom fighter, and the pioneer of the Shuddhi Movement,”

‘The birth centenary of Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati Ji Maharaj is also being observed this year who lived among the forest-dwelling communities of Odisha, dedicating himself selflessly to the service of the people there, and ultimately laid down his life in their midst,” he added.

‘The five initiatives of Panch Parivartan—as in harmony, family enlightenment, environment, self-awareness and swadeshi, and civic discipline—have been welcomed across all sections and levels of society. Even in other countries of the world, the need for this has been felt. This is not merely a year-long program but a way of life that brings about a transformation in conduct,” Dr. Mohan Bhagwat said.

‘The world today is witnessing destruction in geopolitical tensions, economic uncertainty, environmental crises, and the battle for dominance. India has all the answers to these problems, and they know it. That is why our activists’ statements were well heard there, and discussions have also begun,’ he said.
