BERHAMPUR:On 21.10.2026 at about 11.30 PM, during night patrolling, a team of K. Nuagaon PS acting on reliable intelligence regarding illegal gambling at village Ch. Tikarapada, conducted a raid. On seeing police, the gamblers tried to flee. The police team apprehended 09 persons at the spot. In this connection, K. Nuagaon PS Case No. 240 dated 21.10.2026 has been registered under Section 112(2) of BNS read with Section 3 of Odisha Prevention of Gambling Act.
Raid conducted at Ch. Tikarapada on reliable intelligence. 09 persons apprehended while gambling. Case registered and investigation taken up.
