KENDRAPADA/BHUBANESWAR:A poignant moment marked the Gajalaxmi immersion celebrations in Kendrapara as IGP Central Range Dr Satyajit Nayak became emotional while bidding farewell to Goddess Gajalaxmi.
Despite being engaged in overseeing security arrangements and maintaining law and order during the procession, the senior police officer’s devotion and reverence for the deity reflected the human side of his uniformed service.
The occasion beautifully symbolised the coming together of duty, faith and devotion, leaving a memorable impression on those present.
