BHUBANESWAR:Sambalpur MP and former Union Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan has extended his warm greetings and best wishes on the occasion of the holy ‘Sambalpuri Din’.
In a video message on this special occasion, Shri Pradhan said that 14 years ago today, the beautiful tradition of celebrating the birth anniversary of the great pioneer of Sambalpuri language and literature, Late Guru Shri Satyanarayan Bhatadar, i.e. August 1st, as ‘Sambalpuri Din’ began. The intellectuals, citizens and especially the youth of Sambalpur have been celebrating this glorious day with great enthusiasm.
Shri Pradhan said that in our Odisha, Sambalpuri language, culture, civilization, food, dress and music have a unique and special identity. In a culturally rich state, it is the primary responsibility of all of us to remember and preserve this great culture and civilization. Guru Shri Satyanarayan Bhatadar made lifelong efforts to take Sambalpuri language, literature and culture to a new height and level. On this glorious day, we all remember his great contribution with respect. Shri Pradhan thanked the Western Unity Forum, Sambalpuri Unity Forum and other institutions for celebrating this day with great pomp.
In the video message, Shri Pradhan Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath and Maa Samaleswari wished everyone happiness, prosperity and a healthy life.
