BHUBANESWAR: Today i.e.on 01.08.2026,  Debadyuti Nanda, Former- Junior Assistant in the office of Block Education Officer, Baliapal, in Baleshwar,  A/p- Junior Assistant , Government High School, Jagai, Baliapal has been arrested by Odisha Vigilance for misappropriation of Government  money to the tune of  Rs.37,32,708  by way of preparing forged arrear pay bills of self during the year-2022 to 2026 by fraudulently inserting his forged arrear pay bills in the arrear DA bills of other employees under BEO, Baliapal by taking advantage of his official position as the bill clerk-cum-accountant of BEO office, Baliapal*.
