BHUBANESWAR:Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi today laid the foundation stone and launched a total of 36 industrial projects at Bhuinpur under Begunia in Khurda district with an investment of Rs 40,811 crore. Out of these, the foundation stone of 25 projects has been laid and 11 projects have been inaugurated.
Industry Minister Sampad Swain, Chief Secretary Anu Garg, Additional Chief Secretary, Industry, Home and IPR , Hemant Sharma, Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi, Local MLA Prashant Jagdev and others were among those present.
The foundation stone laying and commissioning of these projects will create more than 59,000 jobs. Among these industrial projects, green energy equipment, metal and downstream industries, textile and apparel industries, plastics, tourism, agriculture and food processing, defense manufacturing, IT, automobile, cement industries are going to be started in various districts, which will bring rapid development in the economy of the state.
At the beginning of the program, Chief Minister Shri Majhi participated in a special roundtable meeting with industrialists from different states of the country and outside the state and discussed various projects to be started in the state. The Chief Minister said that the Odisha government is committed to provide all kinds of support for the development of industry in the state.
