BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi attended the inaugural session of the 14th Multi Agency Maritime Security Group (Policy) Meeting held in #Bhubaneswar. Addressing the gathering at Lok Seva Bhawan, the Hon’ble Chief Minister said that India’s seas are not merely geographical boundaries but gateways to immense opportunities, prosperity and international collaboration.

Hon’ble CM emphasized that the nation’s maritime assets, including its seas, ports, fisheries resources and the Blue Economy, are invaluable national treasures. Protecting these assets is essential not only for national security but also for economic growth and the livelihoods of millions of people residing in coastal regions.
Hon’ble CM further highlighted that maritime security today extends far beyond traditional law enforcement. It encompasses the protection of critical infrastructure, maritime domain awareness, cybersecurity, disaster management and environmental conservation, all of which require coordinated and proactive efforts.
