BHUBANESWAR/CUTTACK:The Inspector General of Police, Central Range, Dr. Satyajit Naik, IPS, conducted a comprehensive review meeting to assess the preparedness of police arrangements in view of the upcoming Ramnavami Festival across various districts under Central Range.
The meeting emphasized ensuring robust law and order mechanisms, efficient traffic management, and effective crowd control measures during the festival period. District police officials were directed to remain vigilant and take proactive steps to prevent any untoward incidents, ensuring a safe and peaceful celebration for all.
In addition to festival preparedness, the review meeting also assessed the progress of enforcement actions related to illegal storage, smuggling, and hoarding of domestic LPG cylinders in the backdrop of the ongoing Middle East crisis.

The police have reiterated their commitment to taking stringent action against individuals involved in illegal activities such as hoarding and black-marketing of essential commodities.
The general public is urged to cooperate with law enforcement agencies, adhere to regulations, and promptly report any suspicious or unlawful activities.
