BHUBANESWAR:The inspiration for all of us and the unique leader of the world, the country’s famous Prime Minister Narendra Modi will complete 25 years of public service and dedication on October 7. He began his term as the Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001, and for the past 25 years, he has been continuously leading his service journey, guided by the principle of transforming public service into national service. This journey is not just an ordinary journey, it is a journey of struggle, a journey of service to the people, a journey of determination, a journey of continuous self-confidence for 25 years. An ordinary worker has done extraordinary work and brought about change by implementing many reformative works with the power of his qualifications and skills. In addition, by establishing many foundations, Modi has set an example of renunciation, penance, meditation and self-confidence in the minds of the people, proving that nothing is impossible, said State President and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Manmohan Samal.

In a press conference held at the state office today, Shri Samal said that taking the inspiration from Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public life, continuous service, dedication and nation building journey as a basis, the Bharatiya Janata Party is organizing a nationwide ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’. In Odisha too, this campaign will be celebrated not only as a party event, but also as a comprehensive campaign of public service, public participation and social responsibility.
The campaign will be taken up to all the organizational districts, mandals and booth levels of the state. Youth, women, students, farmers, poor and underprivileged sections will be involved in this. Blood donation camps, cleanliness campaigns, social service, public awareness, Anganwadi public relations and various welfare programs will be organized. With the spirit of ‘Seva Moro Yogdaan’, common citizens will also be involved in service work. Drawing, speech and various creative competitions will be organized at school and college levels. New ideas will be created among the youth regarding ‘Developed India-2047’, nation building, youth power and public service. People will be reached through programs like ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’, ‘Seva Setu’, Angan Milan. In the last phase of the campaign, public representatives and activists will strengthen their resolve for service through ‘Jan Sevak Maha Kumbh’, said State President Shri Samal.
The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan is not a celebration, it is a resolution of public service. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public life is an inspiring journey of service, dedication and nation building. Taking inspiration from his journey, our goal is to turn the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ into a major public movement in Odisha. Welfare of the poor, empowerment of women, development of youth and prosperity of farmers are the main goals of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.
Taking inspiration from Modi’s 25 years of service, lakhs of workers in Odisha will take the resolution of service. The BJP government in Odisha is moving forward by prioritizing public service and development. So that the benefits of the welfare schemes of the Central Government and the developmental initiatives of the State Government reach the last person of the society, the party workers will intensify their public relations and service work. Especially, we will reach out to the tribal community, women, youth, farmers, poor and deprived sections and listen to their needs and problems and cooperate as much as possible. Together, we will take service as our responsibility. Our small services can bring about big changes in the society. Taking inspiration from the Prime Minister’s 25-year journey of service, State President Shri Samal has called upon us to take the resolve to build a prosperous, strong and developed Odisha.
Shri Samal said that we are celebrating Modiji’s birthday on September 17 for 15 days. This year, on the call of the National President, it will be celebrated for a month. The BJP government in Odisha has completed only 2 years. During this time, Modi has been coming to Odisha continuously and in a planned manner and by participating in the NRI and Odisha Excellence programs, Modi has planned to invest 20 lakh crore rupees in the state, make Odisha prosperous through FDI, and make Odisha a number one state. Emphasis is being placed on “Vocal for Local” to build trust in the minds of the local people. Modiji is trying to bring the extraordinary work of the common people to the public through his “Mann Ki Baat” program.
State Coordinator of Seva Sankalp Abhiyan and Minister Dr. Krishna Chandra Mohapatra said that in view of the good governance that the legendary Prime Minister Modi has continuously done for the last 25 years with the concept of service and resolve, Modi’s birthday will be celebrated as “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan” for a month from September 17 to October 17. “This time in the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, we have taken up 13 programs, through which the resolution of “Developed India 2047” will be taken. A mega blood donation camp will be organized on September 17.
After this, in the evening, under the ‘Aashirbadar Deep’ program, lamps will be lit in every house, temple and monastery throughout the country, wishing the Prime Minister a long life, and all the beneficiaries can join this program. From September 17 to October 7, under the ‘My Dream India’ program, drawing and speech competitions will be held in all schools and educational institutions on the future, dreams and the vision of My Dream India. Through the ‘Namo Seva Gatha’ road play, the changes brought about in the lives of people during Modi ji’s 25 years in office will be showcased in every village of the state through road plays.
Continuing the tradition of honouring Anganwadi workers and ASHA sisters under the ‘Anganwadi Festival’ programme, information will be shared with children and their mothers at Anganwadi centres about the Modi government’s nutrition, health and women-related schemes. Through the ‘Story of Change’ programme, the stories of the changes brought about in the lives of people through various schemes will be staged and the experiences of the beneficiaries will be shared with the country and the world through video chats. Vision of a Developed India’ programme, on the occasion of completing 25 years of public service and dedication of the Modi government on October 7, various villages and areas will be connected to express their gratitude for 25 years of public service and the vision of ‘Developed India 2047’ will be taken. Almost all the districts of the country, including the capital, will be involved in the project. A collective resolution of “Developed India 2047” will be taken at 1,000 places and a padayatra or bike rally will be organized. Through ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’, a Seva Jyoti Yatra will be launched from every village in the district.
Under the leadership of the Yuva Morcha, two yatras will be organized from Prime Minister Modi ji’s birthplace Badanagar to his workplace Varanasi and from Varanasi to Badanagar. Taking forward this idea of ​​Prime Minister Modi ji, 25 different service works will be organized through public participation from September 17 to October 17 under the ‘Seva O Moro Yogdan’ program. Under the ‘Seva Setu Abhiyan’ programme, camps will be organized at every block level from September 17 to October 17 to ensure that the benefits of various welfare schemes reach the last person. Under the ‘Rangoli Rashtra’ programme, various welfare schemes, national symbols and the story of a developed India will be displayed by displaying human rangolis at major public places in the country. The youth of the country, students, startups, professionals and corporate innovators will be involved through a special programme called ‘Seva First – Innovation Challenge’.
The selected innovators will be sent to the national level, where the programme will be organized through live exhibitions, live demos and youth dialogues and the winners will be awarded. Finally, through the ‘Sushasan Sambad’ or ‘Janasevak Mahakumbh’ programme, more than 1.25 lakh public representatives, i.e. everyone from Sarpanch to Member of Parliament, will be present throughout India. The entire ‘Vande Mataram’ will be sung, and the legendary Prime Minister Modi is also scheduled to be present.
