BHUBANESWAR:“Employment is not just a goal, public service is the main goal. Serving the poor, exploited, deprived and marginalized classes is the real national service. The real development of any country is possible when the fruits of that development reach the people standing at the fringes of society.” The great nationalist, public figure, philosopher, founder General Secretary of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, guide of our party and creator of the Ekatma Mandapam philosophy, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, gave the name Antyayoday to this idea. Today, the 111th birth anniversary of that great manisi, the dreamer of Antyayoday, is being celebrated across the country. Born on 25th September 1916 in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, Pandit Deendayalji gave a new direction to the entire Indian thought through his simple life and high ideals.
Similarly, Pandit Deendayal gave a ‘single human philosophy’ to the society based on India’s ancient culture, tradition, nature and human values as an Indian alternative to Western capitalism and communism. Panditji’s ideology is very relevant in today’s India. BJP has established itself as an ideological party by embracing this great ideology. The Union Government under the leadership of the eminent Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, taking the vision of Antayodaya and Ekatma Mandapam as its main mantra, is implementing many welfare schemes like ‘Deendayal Antayodaya Yojana’, ‘Deendayal Upadhyay Gramin Kaishal Yojana’, ‘Deendayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana’, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Jala Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana, free ration provision, on the basis of ‘Sabka Saath – Sabka Vikas – Sabka Viswas and Sabka Mantra’. Panditji’s Swadeshi philosophy has formed the basis of a self-reliant India. Pandit Deendayalji placed special emphasis on cultural nationalism.
We all, inspired by the sacrifice, dedication and service attitude of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, are determined to take the weak and exploited sections of the society forward and contribute to the formation of a strong, prosperous and self-reliant India. Building a strong and self-reliant Odisha is our priority. In Odisha too, the BJP government has implemented many welfare schemes with the same ideology and thinking. Through which Odisha will be developed by 2036 and Odisha will play an important role in the formation of a developed India by 2047, said State President and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Manmohan Samal.
