SAMBALPUR:The victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in West Bengal is not just a political success, but it is a strong response to the pain and dissatisfaction that has been in the public mind since the partition of Bengal in 1905, said Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, in response to a question from the media.

The Union Minister also said that the society, which was a victim of neglect for the past 120 years, has today expressed its thoughts. The people of West Bengal have spoken out against infiltration, unemployment and women’s insecurity and have decided in favor of self-reliance and development. The ideology of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, the original thinker of the Bharatiya Janata Party, has got an opportunity to serve his own motherland today. The ‘double engine’ government under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi will now accelerate the pace of development in Bengal. The formation of this new government on a sacred cultural occasion like the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore is an auspicious sign for Bengal.

Describing Shri Subhendu Nirmala as a grassroots leader, Shri Pradhan said that under his leadership, West Bengal will once again be established as an intellectual and cultural hub in the global arena. He expressed hope that the state will set new records in the fields of education, innovation and youth empowerment. It is worth noting that Shri Dharmendra Pradhan himself participated in this grand oath-taking ceremony held in Kolkata today.
