BHUBANESWAR:The ‘Jaago’ club under the Education and Research (E&R) organized a water service camp in front of the main office of the Shivir University on Monday. On this grand occasion, E&R Vice-Chancellor Prof. Prashant Kumar Patra, Controller of Examinations Prof. Manjula Das, Dean of the E&R-run Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER) Prof. P.K. Sahu and ‘Jaago’ club convenor Prof. Anita Panda were present and distributed drinking water and snacks to the passers-by.
Associate Professor Tanmay Parida, Assistant Professor Abhijit Chaudhary, Student Coordinator Shri Shivani Shankar Patnaik, along with other staff and students were present on the occasion.
The ‘Jaago’ club has been doing a great job of educating the small children of the settlements near the various campuses of Soaar for many years. In this context, a water service camp was also organized in view of the intense heat wave.
