BHUBANESWAR: The University of Chicago Trust, India, on Saturday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Odisha government to set up a Data, Policy, and Innovation Centre.
OCAC CEO & Additional Secretary E&IT Department Manoj Kumar P Patnaik and Executive Director University of Chicago Center in India, Leni Chaudhari signed the MoU in Bhubaneswar in presence of Minister for Electronics and Information Technology, Sports and Youth and Home(S) Tusharkanti Behera, and Special Secretary E&IT Department and MD OCAC Manas Ranjan Panda.
“Government of Odisha signed an MoU with the University of Chicago Trust to setup a Data, Policy, & Innovation Centre (DPIC) in the state. This will enable Odisha to incorporate the best data-centric global practices in policy formulation and greatly benefit the people of the state,’ Minister Behera said.
