NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR:Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan paid deep tributes to the immortal brave sons of Mother India, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Shivram Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapa, on Monday, on the occasion of ‘Martyrs’ Day’, by attending a special tribute meeting organized by the ‘All India Freedom Fighters Family Welfare Council’ in New Delhi.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Shri Pradhan said that today we are celebrating the 95th Martyr’s Day. After another 5 years, its centenary year and after about 21 years, the country will celebrate 100 years of independence. Every nook and corner of India is filled with stories of the freedom struggle. From Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose to Bhagat Singh and Shaheed Baji Rout, the sacrifices and penance of all the braves are the foundation stone of our national consciousness. We are members of all the martyr families from Baji Rout to Rajguru, which is a matter of pride for 140 crore Indians.
He further said that under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the contribution of unsung heroes or activists is being honored in the history of the country. In 1835, T.B. It is our primary responsibility to free the country from the education system and slavery mentality imposed by Macaulay. Everyone, including the ‘All India Freedom Fighters Family Welfare Council’, should take responsibility towards restoring India’s spirit, culture and self-respect.
Earlier there was a time to sacrifice for the country, but today there is a need to live for the country. Our goal is to build a developed India by 2047. For this, every moment is important. We have to take responsibility for increasing the self-esteem of the country, strengthening the indigenous economy, increasing the income of farmers, respecting women and youth and welfare of the deprived. Finally, Shri Pradhan thanked the ‘All India Freedom Fighters Family Welfare Council’ for organizing such an inspiring program and sought everyone’s cooperation to build the India of the dreams of the martyrs.
MPs Shri Bhartruhari Mahatab and Shri Pratap Chandra Sadangi, along with other dignitaries, were present at the event.
