PURI/BHUBANESWAR:Based on the approved guidelines (SOP) of the state government, today, 10.4.2026, Friday, “Second Phase, Third Day”, the counting of ornaments and valuables stored in the outer jewelery vault under strict security was carried out, keeping the tradition of the temple intact. This counting work began after the morning incense offering of Mahaprabhu was completed.
Today, the authorized members for the census work arrived at the Shrimandi office hall at the scheduled time as usual. Led by the Chief Administrator of Shrimandi and the members of the Ratnabhandar High Committee, the District Magistrate, the Security Officer, the Chhatisha Niyog Nayak, the Ratnabhandar Sub-Committee Sevak members, authorized senior officers and all the supporting members left the Shrimandi office at 10:35 AM and entered the Shrimandi at 10:40 AM.
Before entering the Ratnabhandar of the temple, the members involved in the census process wore traditional clothes at the temple’s rest house. After advising the authorized members involved in the census work to work with full dedication and devotion, the members involved in the census process were checked by the metal detector installed at the entrance gate after taking the blessings of the deity temple on the side of the temple.
The members involved in the census process were opened at 11.25 am today in the presence of the magistrate. The members involved in the census process of the ornaments, etc., provided in the outer gems storeroom, the members of the goldsmiths, gemologists and weight measurement officers checked and all the processes were carried out correctly as on the previous day. The census ornaments were photographed, videographed, 3D scanned and E-catalogue was done.
After the completion of today’s inventory process, the treasury gates were closed and sealed at 6:35 PM in the presence of the magistrate. All the recording data chips of the process were kept safely in the branch office strong room in the presence of the magistrate.
Chief Administrator Dr. Arvind Padhi expressed his gratitude and thanks to all the servants, officials, and devotees for their tireless cooperation as today’s “Second Phase: Third Day” counting process, which lasted for 7 hours and 10 minutes, was completed without any hitches, following all the rules and regulations as per the government’s guidelines, in line with the Mahaprabhu’s principles and the devotees’ darshan arrangements.
