BHUBANEWAR:Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has taken decisive action on the School Textbook Error Committee’s report.
4 officials suspended, including former Director of Teacher Education Manoj Padhi and Assistant Directors Pralipta Mishra, Dilip Sahu, and Bharati Tudu.
Disciplinary proceedings initiated against 6 Assistant Directors: Bandita Pattnaik, Manas Raut, Manoranjan Mohapatra, Prashanta Sahu, Manas Nayak, and Sudarshan Santara.
All 14 committee recommendations will be implemented, including a Master Errata Register, a dedicated Quality Assurance Cell in SCERT, and a stricter textbook review and approval process to ensure error-free books for Odisha’s students. Swift accountability followed by systemic reforms.
