BHUBANESWAR: RTI Activist and Advocate Odisha High Court, Prakash Das, was felicitated for his outstanding contribution in the field of social services and Right to Information Law at a special conclave organized by Utkal Daily.
On this occasion, Dr. Ashok Mohapatra, former Director of AIIMS Bhubaneswar and Padma Shri awardee, felicitated Shri Prakash Das. He highly appreciated Shri Das’ social awareness work, public interest initiatives and his continuous struggle in the field of RTI. Dr. Mohapatra said that the role of such a young social worker for cleanliness and accountability in the society is very commendable and inspiring.
After receiving the award, Shri Prakash Das said that such an honor will inspire and motivate him to do social work with more determination and strength in the coming days. Receiving the honor from the hands of Padma Shri awardee Dr. Ashok Mohapatra is a memorable moment for me. I dedicate this honor to all the conscious citizens who are constantly struggling for cleanliness, accountability and public interest in the society.
