BHUBANESWAR:   Kendrapara MP Anubhav Mohanty, who sent his resignation letter to BJD Supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, maintained that resignation from Party was his only option.

‘Despite my unwavering loyalty and deep admiration for you Sir, who I have regarded as a fatherly figure, I’ve been grappling with undisclosed concerns that have made me feel suffocated over the past 4 years. The recent personal losses I have endured including the passing of my dearest Bapa and my Bada Bapa, have promised me to reflect deeply on my principles, values and aspirations, MP Mohanty wrote to Naveen Patnaik.

‘With sincere introspection and after careful consideration, I have concluded that I would never quit from politics or from serving my motherland , I will certainly represent my people of Odisha in every possible available , but resigning from BJD is a much necessary step not only personally for me but more because of my dearest motherland, “ MP Mohanty said.

‘I sincerely hope that my resignation will be accepted with understanding and respect,” he said. Sources said, Moahnty will join BJP soon.
