PURI:Today, on the seventh day of chariot construction, the chariot builders arrived at the Rathkhala before 8:00 AM, attended the daily assembly, and began construction work as directed by the chief Maharana.
(Yesterday, after the Tumba Bindha Anukul Puja by the Chief Maharana of the Three Chariots, the work of 16 pairs of Bindhas was started in the Tumbas and the work of Bindhas in 50 parts of the Tumbas of the Three Chariots was completed).
Today, on the seventh day, the Maharana Sevaks, who are driving three chariots, have continued the drilling work on the tombs. By the end of today’s construction work, a total of 42 tombs have reached the final stage of drilling.
The three chiefs of the Maharana have informed that tomorrow, along with the repair work of the tumba bindhas, agar bindhas will be done to fix the thorns in the tumba bindhas.
In addition, today, the Karti Maharana Sevaks have completed the work of encircling four more tombs.
Today, at the temporary blacksmith shop of Dolavedi, the three chariot blacksmiths have continued to prepare the axles of the three chariots and make ‘Pandari Bupta’ to sit on the axles of the Tumba. By the end of today’s work, the three chariot blacksmiths have made the required pandari bupta for three or three wheels, prepared the axles of two or three wheels, and have cut and stored the GI iron rods required for making the axles of the remaining wheels.
