PURI/BHUBANESWAR:Today, on the 60th day of chariot construction, the chariot builders arrived at the chariot yard before 8:00 AM, gave a speech, and began the chariot construction work under the guidance of the Chief Maharana.

*Chariot construction progress*
(By yesterday, the front or third floor of the three chariots had been cut on both sides, the work of laying the dark roof was completed, and the work of laying the planks on the three chariots was in progress.)
*Three-way crossing completed*
In the presence of the Chief Maharana of the Trirathar, the Maharana and the Bhoi Sevak are leading the construction of various parts of the Trirathar. Out of the 13 Bhatya Potlas of the Trirathar, all the Potlas, including the cupola, have been completed, while the construction of 6/7 Bhatya Parabhadi has been completed today. After the painters finish painting the Parabhadi, the remaining 12 Parabhadi, including the skull, will be installed on Potlas No. 1 of the Trirathar.
*Three-time Chandra Shali construction completed*
The construction of the three chariots, four at a time, of the Chandra Shali has been completed. Before the construction of the three chariot door frame, the construction of other parts of the door frame, such as eight gates, eight front doors, and four flag poles to tie the door frame, has been completed.

Today, the Maharana Sevaks have started the fitting work by attaching iron plates, nuts, and bolts to the front wheels of the Taladhwaj Rath, both on the sides.

After applying primer to the three-part frame of the chariot, the painters have started painting the three-part frame of the chariot. They have also started painting the side deity statues, the swan plate, the frame of the deity’s seat, the bowl, the reverse bowl, and the outer parts of the chariot, all of which have been primed with white before painting.
*Blacksmith’s axe*
At the temporary blacksmith shop in Dolavedi, the Ojha Sevaks have continued to install L clamps, EU clamps, and L clamp fittings at the joints of the chariot, including the construction of the three-way door and the thorn under the fire.

At Dolavedi, the Maharana monks have continued to build wooden equipment for worship and services during the Rath Yatra.
