PURI/BHUBANESWAR:Today, on the 44th day of the chariot construction, the chariot builders arrived at the chariot yard at 8:00 am and began the construction work after receiving the guidance of the chief Maharana.

(Yesterday, after auspicious puja, the frame of the chariot was raised three times above the axle and the work of raking the chariot was completed before the thorn was planted in the chariots)
*The work of thorn fencing is completed in three rathas with appropriate prayers*
*The last three chariots were brought forward and then brought back, gargling and scalding the thorny hedges*
Today in the morning, after auspicious puja, in the presence of the Chief Ojha Kamar Sevak, Chief Maharana and Chief Bhoi Sevak, the Ojha Kamar Sevaks have completed the work of installing thorn bars to strengthen the frame on the axles of the three chariots. 74 of the Taldhwaj chariot rails, 58 of the Dwarkaddalan chariot rails and 88 of the Nandighosha chariot rails have been installed with thorn bars, such as clock faces, chauras or dandas, bidiyas or pokharia.
After the completion of the thorn-making work on the three-rattan frame this morning, in the afternoon, on the advice of the Chief Maharana, under the supervision of Bhoi Sardar Ravi Bhoi, the Bhoi servants raised the gargara two times on the five-rattan frame. After the three-rattan Maharana servants measured and carved a half-moon-shaped cut at the back of the gargara and pierced it with agar, the three-rattan Ojha Kamar servants completed the thorn-making work on the gargara.
*With this, the construction of 32 storeys of three chariots has been completed.
*The art workers have carved three images on the altar throne and three times on the eight-pointed star-shaped carving on the legs of the dancers. They have also drawn images for the Kandharpa form and have continued to carve the Kandharpa form on the legs of the dancers after the drawings have been completed.
*The Pahi Maharana has continued the work of making wooden instruments for the service worship policy during the Unsar and Rath Yatra.
