PURI:Today, on the 43rd day of the chariot construction, the chariot builders arrived at the chariot yard at 8:00 am and began the construction work after receiving the guidance of the Chief Maharana.

This morning, after the main Maharana performed auspicious puja by beating coconuts on the three chariots, the work of raising the frame of the three chariots on the axles has been completed under the leadership of the associate Maharana Bhoi Sardar Ravi Bhoi with the help of Bhoi servants.
Along with this, the work of rounding the three chariots (half-moon carving or cutting work in the poles) has been completed today. Today, the three chariots can be lifted onto the axle. Under the guidance of the main Maharanas, the supporting Maharanas completed the work of rounding the three chariots, measuring marks and rounding the axles. After that, the three chariots were set with the axle and five front and rear ends were connected. The front end was covered with a sal guj and the rear end with a water machine and two sal guj were raised and the kuduka was connected and the work of tying the axles was completed.
