BHUBANESWAR/PURI: With able SP, Vishal Singh taking the lead, in multiple raids by police, illegal Fire Arm racket has been busted while 7 arrested and 4 Firearms Seized from their possession. Cases were registered in Sadar PS, Town PS and Baliapanda PS under various sections of IPS and 25 Arms Act.
The arrested 7 accused included Rusia aka Ratikanta Parida son of late Gadadhar Parida under Sadar PS, Biki aka Bikram Panda, son of CS Panda of Siruli Mahabir under Chandanpur PS. Ashok Sahu son of Dinabandhu Sahu of Ranipada under Khandapada of Nayagarh, Guddu aka Rudra Rout son of Arjun Rout of Nuapatna Gali under Puri Town PS, Rocky aka Harishchandra Pruty son of KP Prusty of Hadagodia Sahi under Town PS.Loknath Das son of Balaram Das of Khakimatha Nuasahi under Kumbharpada PS and Ranjit Mohanty son of Laxmidhar Mohanty of Baulamattha Lane, Kumbharapada PS.
