BHUBANESWAR:The inspiration for all of us and the unique leader of the world, the country’s famous Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will complete 25 years of public service and dedication on October 17. In this regard, his birthday will be celebrated with a month-long “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan” starting from September 17 and ending on October 17. The way Modi has continuously provided good governance as the Chief Minister of Gujarat and the Prime Minister of the country for the last 25 years is not a short period. Taking inspiration from that, BJP cooperative cells in Odisha should play a leading role in turning the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ into a huge mass movement, State President Shri Manmohan Samal has called upon the cooperatives.
After assuming the office of the Prime Minister of India, the veteran Prime Minister Modi has taken many groundbreaking steps to double the income of farmers. Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the Modi government has strengthened the backbone of farmers by transferring Rs 6000 every year to their accounts through DBT.
In addition, cooperatives have played a major role in the development of weavers and through the “Bunakar Bima” scheme, the “Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada” scheme for the development of fishermen, and the “Kamdhenu” scheme for the prosperity of cowherds. Under the leadership of Modiji and the successful guidance of Union Minister for Cooperation Shri Amit Shah, today there is a new enthusiasm, excitement and revolutionary change in the cooperative sector, said BJP State President and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Manmohan Samal at a preparatory meeting organized by the BJP Cooperative Cell on the occasion of “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan”.
On this occasion, Odisha BJP Cells State Co-In-Charge Shri Sudipta Ray said that 13 major service responsibility groups have taken up the initiative to express gratitude to Modiji on his birthday for his long-standing welfare policy, his love for Odisha and his passionate devotion to Lord Jagannath. Shri Ray asked the workers at the district and mandal levels to celebrate it with dedication.
Cooperative Cell State Coordinator Shri Sriranjan Mangaraj said that on the 17th, the BJP Cooperative Cell will light the lamp of blessing in the head offices of 18 top cooperative societies and 17 district central cooperative banks of Odisha and all the packs and lamps in the rural areas with the participation of local cooperative members and farmers.
Similarly, to reach the message of service concept at the grassroots level, the Cooperative Cell will work to make the experience of the beneficiaries aware of the countrymen through the ‘Story of Change’ program by visiting the homes of various beneficiaries and making them aware of the experiences of the beneficiaries through video chats, said Shri Mangaraj.
