BHUBANESWAR: OTV announces Rs 20 Lakh compensation to its Journalist Arindam’s Das family. OTV MD Jagi Mangat Panda says, “Losing Arindam is a colossal loss… No amount of monetary compensation can fill the void he has left in our lives… His family is now our family and we will take care of them…”
Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and BJP National VP Baijayant ‘Jay’Panda have condole the death of OTV journalist Arindam Das , who died in an unfortunate mishap at Naraj Barage in Cuttack on Friday.
“Hon’ble Governor is sad to learn about the untimely demise of young Odia journalist Arindam Das and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to his family & colleagues.Prayers for the departed soul. Om Shanti,”Governor Odisha tweeted @GovernorOdisha.
“କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରତ ଯୁବ ସାମ୍ବାଦିକ ଅରିନ୍ଦମ ଦାସଙ୍କ ଦେହାନ୍ତ ବିଷୟରେ ଜାଣି ମୁଁ ଦୁଃଖିତ। ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ସାମ୍ବାଦିକତା ଜଗତ ପାଇଁ ଏହା ଏକ ଅପୂରଣୀୟ କ୍ଷତି। ତାଙ୍କ ଅମର ଆତ୍ମାର ସଦଗତି କାମନା କରିବା ସହ ସମସ୍ତ ଆହତଙ୍କ ଆଶୁଆରୋଗ୍ୟ କାମନା କରୁଛି।,” Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik @Naveen_Odisha.
