BHUBANESWAR: While Praying for peace to the departed soul and for strength to the bereaved family in these difficult times, Odisha IGP (Operations) and 1998 batch IPS officer Amitabh Thakur has expressed his grief and pain at the death of actor late Sushant Singh Rajput, Bollywood Heartthrob.
The Odisha Cadre IPS Officer shared a photo of Sushant Singh Rajput on his wedding party in Patna in Bihar, in which the actor was seen at his teen age. Both IPS Officer Amitabh Thakur and Actor Sushant Singh Rajput hail from Bihar.
“Shocked beyond words…we had spoken some days ago. You had danced the maximum on my marriage. How could you do this ..RIP@itsSSR#RIPSushantSinghRajput,” twitted Amitabh Thakur with a photo of his marriage in which the late Sushant Singh Rajput was seen sitting with his family members.
Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his Bandra apartment on Sunday. He was 34.Rajput’s last big screen release was Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichhore .He has committed suicide at his residence in Bandra. His manager, 28-year-old Disha Salian, ended her life by jumping from a high rise building on June 9.
The actor, who became popular with his starring role in the television show Pavitra Rishta made his foray into films with Kai Po Che! in 2013.He has starred in movies such as Shuddh Desi Romance , MS Dhoni: The Untold Story , Raabta , Kedarnath and Sonchiriya. Rajput, hailed from Bihar and was educated in Patna and New Delhi, before shifting to Mumbai.
