PURI:  When negativity increases in society, there is a need to draw a big line of positivity in front of it, said MP and former Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan while participating in the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha program organized in Puri on the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami.

While listening to the discourse of Padma Bhushan Didi Sadhvi Rutambhra Ji on Shrimad Bhagwat, he said that Pujya Didi Maa is a visionary saint who has drawn a large line of positivity in the society through her divine meditation and service. Using modern technology and online media, she has made a commendable effort to connect the society with our ancient traditions, culture and civilization. It is the moral duty of all of us to come out of the Western influence and traditional mentality and embrace our own culture and glory. The vision of ‘Developed India’ cannot be fulfilled in the 21st century without a strong foundation of spirituality. Spirituality is our greatest strength to face the new challenges that come with changing times.

Shri Pradhan has requested devotees from all over India including Odisha to join the Hanuman Chalisa recitation and evening aarti organized every evening by Sadhvi Ruthambhora Ji through online (Google Meet). He has called for bringing about service, reformation and self-respect in the society through Shrimad Bhagavat Katha and online Satsang.
