MP Dharmendra Pradhan at ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ in Kuchinda, Sambalpur

BHUBANESWAR:Sambalpur MP Shri Dharmendra Pradhan said that it is the social responsibility of every citizen to take care of the healthy body of newborn babies and pregnant mothers while participating in a program organized on the occasion of ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ during his visit to Kuchinda under Sambalpur parliamentary constituency today.

Shri Pradhan today inaugurated the newly constructed ‘Auditorium and Cultural Centre’ along with other development works in Kuchinda. He said that these public interest projects to strengthen the cleanliness and sanitation system of the city along with the cultural centre will give a new identity to Kuchinda. Later, the MP Shri Pradhan visited the Anganwadi Centre in Kuchinda and spent some time with the children and enquired about their health and nutrition. He directly interacted with the Anganwadi, ASHA workers, local mothers and beneficiaries of various schemes at the ‘Angan Milan’ festival under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’. Shri Pradhan highly appreciated the dedicated service of our Anganwadi and ASHA workers in ensuring the mental and physical development of children as well as their nutrition and health.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Pradhan said that we have to awaken these three resolutions in the hearts of every Odia, healthy family through nutrition, healthy environment through cleanliness and safe future through drug-free society. Only by transforming these resolutions into a massive mass movement can the dream of ‘Developed Odisha’ and ‘Developed India’ be fulfilled. He said that the Double Engine Government is committed to the overall development of Kuchinda by providing quality education to the students in Kuchinda, improving health centers and building good roads. Odisha Panchayati Raj Minister Shri Ravi Narayan Naik was a prominent present in the program.
