BHUBANESWAR: In a major boost to BJP in Bhadrak and Telkoi, as many as 2 former MLAs and 1 sitting MLA, Raju Das , Naren Palai and Premananda Nayak on Monday joined the Saffron Camp.
MLA Nayak Former MLA Das and Former MLA Palai joined BJP in presence of State President Manmohan Samal and former President Samir Mohanty and others at BJP State Headquarters in Bhubaneswar.
MLA Nayak won the assembly election in 2009 and 2019 on a BJD ticket and recently resigned from the Naveen Patnaik led Regional Outfit. Raju Das, elected from Dhamnagar constituency in Bhadrak district on a BJD ticket in 2009 while he was denied ticket in 2014 and in 2019, Das lost the polls to BJP’s late Bishnu Das.
Palai was once represented Bhadrak Assembly seat on Congress ticket. On Sunday, Jayadev MLA Arbinda Dhali , who had resigned from BJD, already joined BJP along with another MLA Mukund Sodi.
