This information shows how the District Magistrate and SPs enjoy the money of the people of the state and live a lazy life. And these bureaucrats advertise themselves as clean and free from corruption. During the BJD, BJP ministers used to feel happy by calling the officials involved in all the loot very good.
The Puri District Collector spent Rs 1.32 crore on the beautification of his office building in 2019-20, while in the following years i.e. 2020-21 and 2021-22, 2022-23 he spent Rs 62.37 lakh, Rs 14.28 lakh, Rs 65.21 lakh respectively.
In the same years, the Puri District Collector spent Rs. 2091-20 (26.49 lakh), 2020-21 (69.41 lakh), 2021-22 (10.46 lakh), 2022-23 (53.42 lakh) on renovation of his residence. With this amount of money, the primary education system in Puri district has been strengthened.This is not only in Puri district but in all districts, the District Collectors and SPs are deliberately wasting the treasury, Pradhan said.
