BHUBANESWAR: The Odisha Government on Sunday effected a major reshuffle among IPS officers and transferred 1993 batch IPS Officer and DG Prison Sushant Nath and posted him as OSD Home. Former Staff of Choudwar Jail has lodged an FIR against Nath. 1995 batch Dr Santosh Bala, who is Director SFSL, given additional charge of DG Prison.
1998 batch IPS Officer Amitabh Thakur has been posted as Transport Commissioner, Kataka. Thakur was holding additional charge as Additional DG Prison. Now he will function only as Transport Commissioner.
1998 batch IPS Officer, Additional DG SAP, given additional charge as Special Secretary Home, 2010 batch IPS Officer Sarah Sharma repatriated from Central posting, appointed as DIG Vigilance.
Gundala Reddy Raghavendra, SP Jharsuguda, shifted and posted as AIG State Police Headquarters’ Kataka. 2021 batch IPS Officer Amritpal Singh, SP Nuapada, shifted and posted as SP State Police headquarters. 2022 batch Sonali Singh Parmar, Additional SP Khorda, shifted and posted as SP Jharsuguda. Tapan Narayan Rath, AIG Police headquarters, shifted and posted as SP Nuapada.
