BHUBANESWAR: Khordha I.E P.S Case No.20 dt.25.01.2024,U/S-399/402 IPC.
Informant:- Complaint. Ashok Kumar Mohanty(57),S/O-Lt.Abakash Mohanty of village Mukundamishranagar,PS-Sadar,Dist-Puri, At/Pr.-SI of Police ,I.E PS under I.E PS ,Khordha.
Place of occurrence: – At near Barunei Jungle towards Benapanjuri Road.
Date of occurrence:- On 24/25.01.2024 Night at about 3 AM.
Detail of arrested accd. Persons:- 1.Rajesh Pattnaik(24),S/O-Suresh Chandra Pattnaik of village Bhaliabadi,PS-Model, 2.Rashmi Ranjan Das@Likun(27),S/O-Priti Ranjan Das of village Palla,PS-Model,,3.Sanjay Kumar Champati@Sanjay, S/O.Jalandhar Champati of and 4. Bipin Rout@Japu, S/O.Bhagirathi Rout both are of vill.Gadakhordha all are of Dist-Khordha.
Absconding accused: 2
Under investigation and till not known the rest accused persons.-On 24/25.01.2024 at 2.30 AM vide GD No.14 ,the complt. Ashok Kumar Mohanty(57),S/O-Lt.Abakash Mohanty of village Mukundamishra nagar,PS-Sadar,Dist-Puri,At/Pr.-SI of Police under I.E PS ,Khordha along with ASI-B.Sethi , OAPF/37-Bijay Kumar kahnar, C/267-S.Baliarsingh ,C/546-Sunil Ranjan Chhotaray , in Police vehicle bearing no. OD05Q7577 being driven by HG/216-Bikash Pradhan of I.E PS,Khordha as per direction of SDPO,Khordha . On this information, in order to commit dacoity on NH-16 & Benapanjuri road by kidnapping the driver along with the loaded truck/Pickup vehicles for looting the goods therein.
Then Police Team conducted raid at near Barunei Jungle towards Benapanjuri Road and apprehended four persons namely 1.Rajesh Pattnaik(24),S/O-Suresh Chandra Pattnaik of village Bhaliabadi,PS-Model,and Rashmi 2.Ranjan Das@Likun(27),S/O-Priti Ranjan Das of village Palla,PS-Model,Dist-Khordha, 3. Sanjay Kumar Champati@Sanjay, S/O.Jalandhar Champati of and 4. Bipin Rout@Japu, S/O.Bhagirathi Rout both are of vill.Gadakhordha all are district Khordha and two unknown accused persons fled away from spot and seized two nos. of iron rods ,two nos. of knifes from the possession of the above accused persons and brought to PS.
