BHUBAANESWAR: Inspired by the ideology of the BJP and expressing faith in the developmental work of the double-engine government in the state, seven members of the Kalahandi District Council, including the Chairman of the District Council, Shri Pushpendra Kumar Singhdeo, today left the Biju Janata Dal and officially joined the BJP.
At the merger ceremony held at the state office today, along with Mr. Singhdeo, District Council members Mr. Mahendra Rana, Mrs. Lily Deep, Mr. Jaysen Sahu, Mrs. Sarita Majhi, Mr. Dayanidhi Naik, Mrs. Mohalita Sahu, Mr. Lokesh Sahu and Karlamunda Block President Mrs. Kuni Sahu, along with hundreds of their supporters, officially left the BJD and joined the BJP.

Today’s merger party was attended by former BJD district vice-president Smt. Sushma Sahu, Madanpur Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Smt. Dohi Dandiya, Regeda Sarpanch Diptirani Sahu, Kashrupada Sarpanch Arun Nayak, Hatikhoj Sarpanch Sunita Kumar, Kantesir Sarpanch Mamata Nag, Panchayat Samiti member Shri Tripura Majhi, BJD leaders Nigamananda Sahu, Rameshwar Sahu, Prafulla Sahu, Budhiram Sahu, Tikadhar Sahu, Chaitanya Majhi, Hari Dharua, Rajesh Majhi, Sumant Nag, Pradeep Sahu, Devaraj Rana, Akshay Sahu, Mahendra Bhoi, Barun Nayak, Artatran Singh, Sushant Bagh, Beldhar Bhoi, Mitresen Bhoi, Vrindavan Sahu, Sangeet Bhoi, Laxpati Rana, Hundreds of prominent BJD workers, including Sumanta Parida, lawyer Jayakumar Singhdeo, Niranjan Nanda, and intellectual Sukru Rana, have officially joined the BJP.

Similarly, Nuapada district district council members Sri Malywant Suna, Muralidhar Bhoi, Uma Thakur, Komna Block BJD President Mata Singh Niyal, and senior Congress leader and district general secretary Vrindavan Mahanand have joined the BJP, accompanied by hundreds of supporters.

BJP is a worker-based party. Under the leadership of the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, BJP has become the largest political party in the world. There are BJP and NDA governments in 22 states of the country. Today, the BJP organization has been strengthened due to the sacrifices of many great personalities and the efforts of workers. The BJP family is growing day by day. Inspired by the working style of the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the popular Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, the contribution of new workers in BJP is increasing. The BJP government is continuously making efforts for the development of Odisha.

The BJP government is working so that all facilities can reach the people living in the last rung of the society. Everyone should make efforts so that everyone can have a religious post in the formation of a new Odisha. The contribution of new workers is important in this, said State President and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Manmohan Samal, after attending the merger party held at the state office.

State President and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Manmohan Samal welcomed all the new members by giving them the party cap. On this occasion, MPs Smt. Malvika Devi and Shri Sujit Kumar, MLAs Sudhir Kumar Pattyoshi and Jay Dholakia, State Vice President Bhavendra Panda, State Secretary Saroj Kar, Kalahandi District President Jugal Kishore Pod and District In-charge Arthatran Mohapatra, former MP Arkakeshri Deo, former MLA Hitesh Bagarti, senior leaders Yadumani Panigrahi, Shiv Mund, Lambodhar Niyal, Prasanna Padhi were prominently present and welcomed them.
