On the auspicious occasion of Hera Panchami, on 20th July 2026, Jindal Foundation, the social arm of Jindal Steel, strengthened its commitment to inclusive community development with the inauguration of the 25-bedded Jindal Aarogyam Community Hospital and the Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav of Deveshwar Mahadev Temple at Deojhar, Badabil, in Kendujhar district.

JODA/BARBIL:On the auspicious occasion of Hera Panchami, on 20th July 2026, Jindal Foundation, the social arm of Jindal Steel, strengthened its commitment to inclusive community development with the inauguration of the 25-bedded Jindal Aarogyam Community Hospital and the Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav of Deveshwar Mahadev Temple at Deojhar, Badabil, in Kendujhar district.

The twin initiatives were inaugurated by Smt. Shallu Jindal, Chairperson, Jindal Foundation, in the gracious presence of Padma Shri Tulasi Munda, and senior company officials, public representatives along with members of the local community.
Together, these landmark initiatives reaffirm Jindal Foundation’s vision of improving the quality of life of underserved communities by promoting accessible healthcare alongside spiritual and cultural well-being.
The newly inaugurated Jindal Aarogyam Community Hospital is equipped with modern medical infrastructure and will provide comprehensive healthcare services in General Medicine, General Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics and Paediatrics, supported by visiting consultants in Cardiology, Orthopaedics, Dentistry, Gastroenterology and Ophthalmology.
The hospital also houses a modern operation theatre, diagnostic facilities and 24×7 Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) ambulance services, ensuring quality healthcare closer to home.
In line with Jindal Foundation’s commitment to equitable healthcare, free consultation and medical treatment will be provided to underprivileged and socially vulnerable patients.
The consecration of the Deveshwar Mahadev Temple reflects the Foundation’s commitment to preserving India’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage while fostering harmony, faith and community bonding.
The temple will serve as a vibrant centre for worship, festivals and spiritual activities for People from the surrounding villages.
