PURI/BHUBANESWAR:The ISKCON organization, which has insulted the revered deity of Odisha, Lord Jagannath, for its business activities abroad and has disrespected Puri Gajapati, has no right to stay in Odisha. This foreign organization should leave Odisha immediately, said Kalinga Sena supremo Hemant Rath.
Today, Shri Rath told reporters here that ISKCON is using Jagannath as a toy abroad for its business and branding. It is doing Sannava Yatra and Rath Yatra wherever it can. It is promoting its own religion by placing Jagannath on a pedestal. It does not respect the feelings of Jagannath lovers. It is doing Rath Yatra in maximum numbers throughout the year, regardless of the prohibition of the Adiniya Rath Yatra.
Puri Gajapati requested ISKCON not to play such games with Jagannath, but the organization did not listen to it. On the contrary, it has written a letter to Gajapati informing him that nothing can be done about it. ISKCON’s such arrogance is not only an insult and shame to Puri Gajapati, but also to the Odia people.
This organization, which does not respect the ancestral deity of Odisha and its first servant Puri Gajapati, has no right to stay in Odisha. Shri Rath has warned that if this organization does not leave Odisha immediately, the Kalinga Sena will lock all its offices. Similarly, Shri Rath has appealed to at least one person to join the ISKCON Rath Yatra in Bhubaneswar during the upcoming Rath Yatra. If ISKCON responds in a proper manner, that organization will understand what a Sanasana culture is. ISKCON will be strongly opposed during the Rath Yatra in Puri as well. ISKCON devotees will not be beaten with a heavy stick. Kalinga soldiers will strongly oppose ISKCON workers in both Bhubaneswar and Puri, Sena Supreme Commander Shri Rath told the media.
