BHUBANESWAR:In view of the flood situation in various parts of the state, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has directed to ensure food security of the affected people and expedite relief work.
Special instructions have been given to extend the period of distribution of cooked food, especially in the forest areas, so that no affected person faces food shortage.
Under the directions of the Chief Minister, the State Government and all the concerned departments are working with full vigilance at Ground Zero. The Government is committed to ensuring drinking water, medical services and safety in the flood shelters and to reaching out to every affected family.
