BHUBANESWAR:Governor of Odisha Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati on Saturday visited the Puri Shri Jagannath Temple along with Hon’ble First Lady of the state Dr. Jayashree Kambhampati. Upon arrival at the temple, Shri Arvind Kumar Padhi, Chief Administrator, Shri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) and Puri District Magistrate Divya Jyoti Parida welcomed the Governor.
The Governor paid homage to Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra and wished for continued peace, progress and prosperity of Odisha and the welfare of the people of the state.
After the Darshan, the Governor visited various parts of the temple complex. On this occasion, Chief Administrator Shri Padhi and District Collector Shri Parida briefed the Governor about the temple administration, management and various facilities provided for the devotees.
