BHUBANESWAR:A free health check-up camp was organized on Wednesday by the NSS Bureau of the SUM Lifesciences and SOA NSS.
The camp was organized at the SUM Lifesciences premises in Gothapatna, a suburb of Bhubaneswar. Hundreds of construction workers and employees working at Sam Lifesciences got their health checked in the camp, which lasted from 10 am to 2 pm. The medical team checked the workers’ blood pressure, diabetes, eye, skin, dental and general health and distributed medicines free of cost.
The event was organized by Dr. Kamal Lochan Mahanath, Coordinator of SOA NSS Program, Shri Narotam Das, Chief Coordinator of SUM Life Sciences, Dr. Shishir Kumar, Program Officer of IMS & SAM Hospital NSS, and NSS Officer Rajshekhar Behera. Dr. Sumitra Patnaik, Head of Community Medicine, IMS & SUM Hospital, and Dr. Sumitra Swain, Assistant Professor, participated in the event.
