Films like ‘Kangula’ will maintain the trust and faith of the society

BHUBANESWAR:Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan watched the trailer of the new Odia film ‘Kangula’ at a special screening organized in Bhubaneswar on Saturday and praised it.

Shri Pradhan said that this film, which is based on the lifestyle and spiritual beliefs of the Danduwa group of the famous ‘Kangula’ village of Angul, is a perfect image of Odia culture. He further said that Odia cinema is not just entertainment, it is a social message and movement. Films like ‘Kangula’ will help in maintaining the faith and devotion of our society. He expressed his opinion that this film, which is based on the traditional ‘Dand Naach’ of Odisha and the glory of Mother Kali, will present the basic story of Odia land in a very wonderful way.

The event, held at Hotel Padmaja, was attended by the Minister, the film’s lead actor Sambit Acharya, director Ashwani Tripathi and other members.
